The Annual HSP Charity Alliance
Each year, HSP Painting Company joins forces with local businesses to combine time, money and resources to form the HSP Charity Alliance. This alliance awards a local charity $10,000 in painting and remodeling services.
The 2009 HSP Charity Alliance: STEP2
We are happy to announce that STEP2 was the 2009 HSP Charity Alliance recipient. After two months and over a thousand online votes, the community showed a tremendous amount of support towards STEP2. This private non-profit is located in Reno. Their mission is to provide comprehensive services related to the treatment and recovery of chemically dependent women and their families, resulting in sustainable self-sufficiency. For more information about the charity visit step2reno.org.
We'd like to extend a special thank you to the following businesses: Sherwin Williams, A&H Insurance, BJ's Brewery, Clear Channel, Dave Pearce Construction, Dick's Fuller Paint, Sam's Club, Steve Bus, Studio66 and Truckee Meadows Construction. Without their involvement, this annual event would not be possible.
The 2008 HSP Charity Alliance: Washoe Arc
On May 28th, 2008 we welcomed the "HSP Annual Charity Alliance Event" as a part of our company. This new annual event has been formed with local businesses to give back to our community by providing painting services, valued at $10,000.00 for deserving non-profit charity organizations.
The Sparks Chamber of Commerce assisted with names of charity organizations that were selected. The public was invited to vote on line at our website for the charity of their choice so that a winner could be selected. Charities selected to vote for were, The Education Collaborative, RSVP, Boys and Girls Club and Washoe ARC. This year our winner is, Washoe ARC. President and CEO, Jim Meyers accepted the $10,000.00 award from Co-Owners of HSP, PJ Guarino and William Helu.
Special thanks goes to the many local businesses that helped to make this possible, such as Sherwin Williams, Heritage Bank, High Sierra Electric, Hodell-Natco, Offices of Steven F. Bus, Sign-a-Rama, Studio 66, A&H Insurance, Breen Insurance Services, Construction by Kress.
