Green building is one of the newest and most popular trends in construction. It's being used from new commercial down through residential repaint, and features benefits such as better quality of life, tax credits, and most of all environmental compliance. The LEED program (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) by the United States Green Building Council, is one such program that allows builders to gain points toward a government certification on their project.
